Scouting is an approved type of character training and a preparation for good citizenship designed for the benefit of boys.

AimThe aims of scouting are four-fold:
The first is the formation of character.
The second is the formation of health habits.
The third is the training in handicraft and the acquisition of useful skills and
The fourth is the cultivation of a proper spirit of service efficiently.

Service to others The spirit of service is developed through the carrying into daily life of practice of religion, by “Good Turns”)

To encourage the student to prepare the good turn diary for a month.

Pratham Sopan

To teach knowledge about his patrol

Patrol Day Hike(alagarkovil or samanar malai)

Cleaning the school campus

Dwitiya Sopan

To arrange the Night Hike and conduct wide game

To teach the handicraft and skill (these are achieved occasionally through indoor activities, bridge building, camp expedients.)

Tritiya Sopan

Following activities are taught to our students

First aid, Compass, Direction, Mapping, Rope craft, Signaling & Estimation

(Every year 15 to 16 students are participate the Tritiya sopan training camp)
AchievementsEvery year 10 to15 students are awarded Rajyapuraskar award
Every year 5 or6 students are prepared for Rastrapathy award
Every 22nd February we celebrate BP’s Day
